Dear potential short term rental visitor,
You are invited to visit the Wayzata Bed and Breakfast* located at 1042 East Circle Drive in downtown Wayzata, MN. We like to say it’s all the beds, and none of the breakfast! My wife Elisha and I have owned and operated a rental duplex in downtown Wayzata since the year 2008. Over that period of time we have seen an incredible amount of transformation in the surrounding blocks of the East Neighborhood. When we moved here Lake Street was so empty you could kick a can down the street and hardly a person would notice.
Wayzata Bed and Breakfast*
The Wayzata Bay Center was a vacant wasteland deemed “blight” by developer Presbyterian Homes and the City of Wayzata with it’s 1960’s ocean of parking lot with single story shopping mall in the middle of the property. At one point, my neighbor and I used to ride our four-wheelers and snowmobiles over to the last operating business on the site, the Wayzata Muni.
More recently our neighborhood has been under siege by orange cones and new construction in every direction. The Landing Hotel and Condominiums (at the time this is being written) are nearing completion, with the average price per square foot exceeding $600 for a new construction Wayzata Condo.
Elisha and I have rented our duplex both long and short term prior to modern regulation by the City of Wayzata to familiar faces among Wayzata’s community including REALTORS, elected officials needing to remain within the borders of Wayzata in order to retain eligibile to continue to serve as City Council members, photographers, landscapers, auto dealers, and more.
All of this is to say that if you are seeking a place for you and or your friends and family to stay for a while in Wayzata, Elisha and I would be happy to host you via our short term rental which we have dubbed the Wayzata Bed and Breakfast*. Our rental home had four bedrooms, three bathrooms, a modern and clean kitchen, wireless access and a smart TV so you and your friends can unwind watching Netflix, cruising the internet, and more.
Much of the construction that has surrounded our home is nearing completion, and the quiet and upscale residential neighborhood is a treat for visitors to the Lake Minnetonka region. The best part about the spot is the location – which is walking distance to all of the distinct and fantastic restaurants, watering holes, shops, and Lake Minnetonka.
The breakfast half of the Wayzata Bed and Breakfast is self serve at any of our local establishments, and Wayzata has an abundance of places to get a bit to eat when it’s breakfast time:
- Caribou Coffee – breakfast sandwiches, baked goods, and snacks
- Starbucks – offers oven warmed foods
- Bellecour – offers french pastries and coffee
- Wuollet Bakery – bread, rolls, pastries, cookies, donuts, & cakes
- Maggie’s Restaurant – American breakfast
- The Original Pancake House – Wayzata favorite moved to South Plymouth
- Holiday Station Store – Quick bite while filling up for gas
- McDonalds – now serving breakfast all day
- Bruegger’s Bagels – New york style bagels, outstanding cream cheese, and sandwiches
