The Farmer's Zeppelin caused quite a stir in the Lake Minnetonka community at around 11:00 am Wednesday morning. It floated over Wayzata Bay and back towards Excelsior.  This amateur reporter fielded calls from several interested parties.

The Star Tribune reported yesterday that the ship flew in from Milwaukee and arrived in Eden Prairie last evening around 7 pm.

A zeppelin is different from a blimp in that it has motors and a skeleton inside.  This is reportedly one of two in existence in the world.

Rides will be available at Flying Cloud airport through the weekend, and start at $375.  For more info, visit www.airshipventures.com/tracking.php.
