Wayzata welcomes a change in scenery

There is no doubt the Fall weather is here. You can feel it in the moist morning dew, and the cold dark nights.

The Fall season, for some, is a time to relax, enjoy time with family, and watch some great football on a cloudy afternoon. For others it's time to start struggling to get back in the groove of school or work after enjoying the long summer nights and sun-filled days.

The Big Woods is a beautiful backdrop to have in downtown Wayzata. The area is located East of Colonial Square. In the Big Woods, you can see the maple trees beginning to change and show a rich maroon hue. Most of the other trees have yet to even start.

Kurt Klapprich a city forester says, "we should experience our full peak season, in mid October."
