The Wayzata Art Experience will be held on June 26 and 27 on the shores of Wayzata Bay.

 

Presented annually by the Wayzata Chamber of Commerce, the Experience will feature 100 Juried Artists, Free Sailboat Rides, Food Trucks, Food Artisans, and Beer & Wine served by Gianni’s new One Door West location. 

 

Attendees can shop for fine art, and watch for this year’s Featured Art which will be unveiled as it floats on Lake Minnetonka.

 

Featured Food Trucks will include North Shore BBQ, Falafel King, Nautical Bowls and Pierogi2Gogi. Food Artisans will include Summer Lakes Beverage, Olive  on Tap, Hepps Spice Co., Nothing Bundt Cakes, Kettle Cakes Kitchen, and Simply Nuts.

 

Wine on Wayzata Bay, a nautical wine festival which supports Wayzata Sailing will be hosted at the Wayzata Yacht Club on Friday, June 25.

 

Check out Pilates on the Plaza, hosted by PilatesMN at 10 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday.

 

Free sailboat rides will be held courtesy of Wayzata Community Sailing Center, while Art Experience rides will be held at the Broadway Docks.

 

Islands of Live Music, a full line-up of local musicians, will be stationed along Lake Street, featuring a Guitar Stage and Piano Stage. 

 

Artists on the Guitar Stage will feature The  Acoustic Rockdog, Matt McCallister, Greg Sletten and Trixie on Saturday--while on  Sunday--Visbeek will open, featuring Mark Bendickson with Tommy Raycraft followed by PK Mayo. 

 

Saturday on the Piano Stage will feature Mark Mueller, David K, Rob Meany and Tom Hunter and Frank Jones -- The Soave Brothers. Sunday’s Piano Stage will feature Clint Clark followed by Scottie Miller.

 

The Activity Zone will include along with chalk art, bag toss, The Lake Street Splash Pad and Active Woodworking + Boatbuilding Demos by Urban Boatbuilders.

 

The weekend will also feature ARTY parties, with Happy Hours hosted by local restaurants.
