The Cherie Boutique Francaise, a Wayzata shop that sells perfume and beauty products, was featured in the Star Tribune today. Even in the recession, the store is continuing to see a rise in sales. The rise is just 3 percent, but as the writer of the story says, "But that's not bad, considering that consumer spending last year took the steepest plunge in 28 years--and the fact that Cherie Boutique's wares do not exactly fall into the bargain-basement category."
