As further evidence things are returning to normal after the Covid-19 global pandemic, both live music events and in person City of Wayzata government meetings are returning. The Wayzata Chamber of Commerce recently published Your Guide to Summer Music.

 

Highlights include:

 

• Music by the Lake Wednesdays in July at the Wayzata Depot 7-8:30 p.m. presented by the Wayzata Rotary.

 

• Live Summer Music Series with over 40 performances from July - October at CoV Wayzata.

 

• Live Music Thursdays from July - October 6-9 pm at ninetwentyfive.

 

• Summer Sundays Music Series in July & August 3-6 pm at ninetwentyfive.

 

• Wayzata Beach Bash (James J. Hill Days) on September 10, 11, & 12 hosted by RB Productions Inc.

 

• Sunday Music in the Park in September & October on the Great Lawn presented by Wayzata Parks & Trails.

In Person City Meetings Return

 

The City of Wayzata has also recently announced that in person meetings will resume beginning with the July 7th Planning Commission meeting. A release indicated that the public will be able to attend both via Zoom and in person, and that the City is currently working to implement options for smooth hybrid meetings in the future.
