Ready to take in a great 4th of July Holiday weekend? If you are from the Wayzata area, here is the schedule of planned activities for the 4th:
Broadway Kiddie Parade - 10:00 a.m.
At 10:00 a.m. on July 4, the annual Broadway Kiddie Parade will take place on the corner of Park and Broadway. Free balloons, lemonade, popsicles and face painting will be available for the kids to enjoy. Kids need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian in order to participate. Please do not bring any battery operated or motorized vehicles to the event.

Mini Olympics - 12:30 p.m.
The Wayzata Fire Department will once again sponsor the Mini Olympics for kids at the Wayzata West Middle School football field on July 4 starting at 12:30 p.m.. The events for youth 5 - 12 years old are softball throw, running races and the running broad jump. The events for children ages four and under are running races and penny hunting.
The Revolutionary "Flying Pancakes" Return!
Patriots of all ages are welcomed with enthusiasm to 'catch their breakfasts!! The 5th annual celebration of the American Revolution and her Patriots will begin at 8:00 a.m. and run through noon on the Fourth of July. For more information, click here.

Excelsior Fire Works - 10:00 p.m.
Monday night make your way over to Excelsior by car or by boat to see the fantastic 4th of July fireworks display that has become such a great part of the Lake Minnetonka community. It starts at near 10:00 pm and can be seen from a number of bays on the Lake, including Wayzata.
