Wayzata Declares Local Emergency

The City of Wayzata has declared a local emergency.

This is to respond  to the threat of COVID-19.

The declaration allows the Mayor and City Manager to request and coordinate appropriate aide and resources from surrounding jurisdictions and the State of Minnesota as needed.

It will also allow for greater flexibility to support Wayzata residents.

“The safety of our staff and residents of Wayzata is the ultimate goal,” said Wayzata Mayor Ken Willcox.
