The Wayzata Historical Society has postponed the 35th Anniversary Celebration to August 23rd. The event had originally been scheduled for August 16th.
President Joanie Holst joked about the reason for delay, “Well, thanks a lot, Minnesota (insert sarcasm here)… We have been watching the weather diligently, and it appears that rain and thunderstorms are practically guaranteed for tomorrow evening, August 16th. So, we have reluctantly made the decision to postpone tomorrow’s celebration to the scheduled rain date of August 23rd (same times).”
Event goers can expect tickets purchased to be honored on the 23rd. Refunds are available for those who can’t make it on the 23rd.
