2016 Wine on Wayzata Bay

The Best Lakeside Party of the Summer! And you are invited! Bring Your Friends!

Mark your calendars for a very special public wine tasting charity event at the Wayzata Yacht Club on Friday, June 19, 2015 from 6:30 pm - 9:30 pm. The eighth annual “Wine on Wayzata Bay” is a wonderful opportunity to gather your friends, family or neighbors together in the relaxed atmosphere of the beautiful lakeshore property of the Wayzata Yacht Club, now celebrating its 50th anniversary. Sample from scores of wine varieties selected by 16 of the area's leading wine wholesalers! And this year we will include beer and introduce a new line of spirits. Sponsored by Wayzata Wine & Spirits (“The Muni”).

Enjoy hors d’oeuvres from highly regarded local restaurants such as Lord Fletchers, Kip's Irish Pub and Restaurant, Wayzata Bar and Grill, Jake O'Connor's, Spasso and McCormick's Pub & Restaurant. This event is open to the public and also includes live music, a copious silent auction and sailboat rides until sunset!

Proceeds support the Wayzata Community Sailing Center, a MN 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. WCSC reaches out to the greater Twin Cities area with youth scholarship opportunities, sailing events for visually impaired and physically disabled individuals, and to inner-city youth groups in addition to their well-known local community and high school team programs.

Each year, the Wayzata Community Sailing Center works even harder to provide “Sailing for Everyone!” Ticket event pricing: $60 presale, $75 after June 5. (Tickets have sold out in the past the week before, so early purchase is recommended).
