Another fatal crash on Highway 12

The Minnesota State Patrol is reporting an overnight accident with a fatality just west of Wayzata. This is another in a string of deadly crashes that have occurred along the Highway 12 Corridor.  Many community leaders and police departments along the route have been lobbying the legislature and MN Dot to enhance safety along the route.

Incident Description: 2012 Honda Civic and a 2014 Ford Fusion were both traveling eastbound on Hwy 12 when the Ford rear ended the Honda. The Ford then spun out coming to rest in the westbound lanes of Hwy 12 when it was struck by a 2011 Chevy Cruz.
