Voting for Tyacke

When candidates for public office campaign by complaining, I want to cover my ears. When I find a candidate who wants to listen, weigh all sides, follow a fair and open process, and make independent decisions that balance past, present, and future, I’m interested.

Steve Tyacke is the only candidate, other than the incumbent, running for the an open seat on the council with experience in Wayzata city government. He’s demonstrated his commitment to our city on the Planning and Charter Commissions. The Charter Commission voted him chair in his first year based on his leadership and intellect.

He is committed to the kind of open and independent thinking that will help our city thrive for all our citizens and grow without sacrificing the historic character we all treasure. His private sector experience and instincts for public process and municipal strength make Steve right for Wayzata.

My vote for Steve Tyacke is a positive vote for Wayzata’s bright future.
