500 signatures on cell phone tower petition asking for removal

A decades long cell phone tower controversy continued at the September 2nd Council Meeting as a petition bearing 500 signatures opposing the use of Klapprich Park for cell phone tower equipment was presented.

Lucy Bruntjen, Polly Grose, and Lynn Gruber all expressed their concerns.  Susan Hughes of 415 Gardner Street, presented a petition of 500 signatures to the Council asking them to remove the telecommunications site from North Klapprich Park.

The Council will be deliberating more cell phone tower options on Sept. 16th at the regular council meeting.
