Lake Minnetonka “Emergency High Water Declaration” Terminated

At their July 23rd meeting, the Lake Minnetonka Conservation District (LMCD) Board of Directors terminated the “Emergency High Water Declaration” effective 12:01 a.m., Friday, July 25th. This Declaration required all boaters to traverse the entire Lake at minimum wake speed. Based on today’s water level reading of 930.22 feet, this action will immediately revert back to the previously enacted “High Water Declaration” (speed restrictions within specifically designated areas outlined below) until the LMCD receives three consecutive water level readings below 930.0 feet.
