Alexis Gaither joins Wayzata.com as Interim Editor

I have been welcomed to the Wayzata.com community, and what better way to start out my career here than by writing about...myself? The basics: I’ll be a Senior at Wayzata High School and have lived here each of the 17 years of my life.

I started my journalism career at Wayzata High School as a writer (and now Editor) for the Trojan Tribune and am excited to continue it here at Wayzata.com as an Editor.

Not only do I hope to provide Wayzata.com with stories and information, but I hope to continue to learn about journalism, editing, and news writing (in fact, I’m already reading the 2nd edition of “the Weekly Writer’s Handbook.")

I am looking forward to writing for the readers and community of Wayzata.com.
