Pancake breakfast hosts say thank you to community

All 1150+ of you who joined with us once again at the Wayzata Depot Gardens to celebrate Independence Day!!

Over 1150 people attended the Flying Pancake Breakfast on the 4th of July. Photo Dan Gustafson.
The Pancakes Flew, (thousands of them aimed for plates, with hundreds landing elsewhere!!); Revolutionary Actors Marched and Shot Muskets; the SAR Color Guard raised both the Betsy Ross Flag (with the assistance of Betsy herself) and our current American Flag with the support of the Wayzata Community Church Flute and Fife band; and Wayzata Mayor Wilcox greeted guests, which numbered over 1150 this year... A RECORD!

We were blessed with bright sun, blue skies, gentle breezes, and were honored to thank 75 Veterans with free breakfasts!!

Thank You to our supporters and to the greater Lake Minnetonka community for making this a truely Patriotic 'Family-Fun' Event.
