OBITUARY: Anthony F. "Tony" Feser

Anthony F. (Tony) Feser, Age 98, of Wayzata, passed away at his home on June 6, 2011.

He was preceded in death by his wife Evelyn (Peb), his son Jim, parents, three sisters, one brother, and grandson Steven Greig.

He is survived by his daughter Judy Greig (Rich) of Jackson, WY; daughter-in-law Mary Feser of Milaca, MN; Grandchildren John Greig (Brandi-Lynn) of Firestone, CO; Debbie Blomquist (Jack) of Quincy, CA, Amy Christy (Todd) of Milaca, MN, and Erica Marshall of Milaca, MN; Great grandchildren Chad and Cody Christy of Milaca, MN., Lucas and Colter Greig of Firestone, CO., Blake and Britney Blomquist of Quincy, CA., and Westen and Allyson Marshall of Milaca, MN.

Tony was an active member of St. Bartholomew's Catholic Church in Wayzata since childhood, a member of the Wayzata Volunteer Fire department for 43 years, served on the Wayzata City Council for four years, was a Wayzata Citizen of the Year, and a WCCO Good Neighbor.

Tony loved gardening and was always proud to show off his flower gardens in the summer. He provided beautiful amaryllis plants to St. Bartholomew's Church at Easter time for many years.

Mass of Christian Burial 11 AM Monday, June 13, 2011 at the Church of St. Bartholomew, 630 E. Wayzata Blvd., Wayzata. Visitation 5-7 PM Sunday AT THE CHURCH with prayer service at 7 PM and one hour prior to Mass at church.

Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery.

Memorials may be directed to St. Bartholomew or to the Wayzata Fire Department.
