Fire at 167 Gleahaven Road

Wayzata, Plymouth, Minnetonka and Long Lake fire departments responded to a call at 167 Gleahaven Road at approximately 9:00 am this morning.

Black smoke was billowing out of all sides of the property.  Witnesses on scene indicated that the owner had passed away in January, and that the home was unoccupied.  Employees at the Wayzata Village Bargain Lot called in the fire.

The fire was contained, with primarily smoke damage to the structure, and no one was harmed. The source of the fire remains under investigation.
