City Council brief: Force main delayed, Wayzata Blvd construction

Highlights of the June 21, 2011 Wayzata City Council meeting Tuesday include:
  1. A one year delay of the the force main project on Lake Street at the request of a group of Wayzata retailers and the Wayzata Chamber
  2. The go-ahead was given to resurface Wayzata Boulevard from Central Avenue to Ferndale in the fall, subject to a neighborhood meeting for feedback to be held July 12, 2011
  3. The Council moved to allow City Attorney Meller to attempt to work out a subordination agreement with the owners of the Wayzata Boardwalk senior housing facility, and potentially hold a closed meeting on Monday to approve the agreement
