He is undecided in his career goals, though he is looking into dentistry or possibly graduate school after college.

He works on research projects at University of Minnesota and volunteers at North Memorial Hospital, Hennepin County Library and Bakken Science Museum. He plans to attend one of the top research universities majoring in science, with the goal of being a science researcher in the future.

Ganesh Raman is a senior whose favorite subjects include geography, geology, and chemistry. He is an
National AP Scholar and National Merit Finalist. He participates in Science Olympiad, Quiz Bowl, and NHS. His interest in singing has led to being named the Carnatic Star of Minnesota 2010; winning awards at Carnatic vocal competitions held in Cleveland, Chicago, and Detroit; and professionally performing Carnatic vocal concerts and tours internationally. He teaches Indian classical music and volunteers as a language tutor. He plans to major in geology and then go to medical school specializing in pathology and move back to India.
