Taste for Wayzata Public Schools planned April 20, 2011

The second annual Taste for Wayzata Public Schools has been planned for April 20 from 6:30 to 9 p.m. in Plymouth at the Comfort Inn located at 3000 Harbor Lane and tickets are $30 and can be purchased online at www.wpsef.org or in the office of any Wayzata Public Schools building.

This event directly benefits curricular programs in Wayzata Public Schools as all proceeds fund the Wayzata Public Schools Education Foundation mission to maintain and sustain the high quality of education in the district.

This casual culinary event will showcase a variety of food from favorite local restaurants including Axel's Bonfire, Davanni's, Famous Dave's, Green Mill Restaurant and Bar, Jake's City Grille, Joe Senser's Sports Grill and Bar, Peg's Catering, Robert's Restaurant and Bar, Sunsets and more. Door prizes will also be awarded during the evening.

The Wayzata Public Schools Education Foundation was formed in June 2003 by a group of concerned parents and community leaders who wanted to ensure academic excellence across the district despite unreliable state and federal funding for public schools. The Foundation's sole focus is to maintain and sustain the high quality of education in the Wayzata Public Schools. WPSEF is a fund of the Minnesota Community Foundation.
