The Brost Clinic Celebrates 25 Years In Wayzata

The Brost Clinic in Wayzata is celebrating its 25th Anniversary with a birthday party April 16th, 2011 from 9am-12pm. All community members are invited to join us to celebrate with birthday cake, snacks, refreshments, free adjustments, free new patient exams, and fun activities for kids.

Opening its doors April 28th, 1986 the clinic has grown dramatically into one of the largest and most technologically advanced natural health care clinics in the Midwest. Now offering a second location in Medina, MN, and having undergone a large expansion in October of 2009 in Wayzata, the clinic operates with 6 doctors of chiropractic (all certified in acupuncture), five massage therapists, exercise therapist, and a large staff providing the highest quality drug-free care to members of the Wayzata, Plymouth, Medina, the surrounding communities and beyond.

Co-founder Dr. Brost is a native of Sweden whose first six years of chiropractic practice took place in Stockholm. Dr. Brost views health care through Europe’s more holistic prism, yet she understands firsthand the toll that American lifestyles have on our health.

After completing her pre-med studies in Stockholm, Sweden, Dr. Brost graduated in 1979 from Northwestern College of Chiropractic, which is now Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington, Minnesota. She co-founded The Brost clinic in 1985 introducing Europe’s holistic view to Wayzata. Dr. Brost’s daughter, Dr. Caroline Brost, joined the family owned business in 2006 after also graduating from Northwestern Health Sciences University. In 2008, Dr. Brost received the “Alumnus of Year” Award form Northwestern Health Sciences University. Also in 2008, The Brost Clinic received the Five Star Office Award for offering excellent patient service.

The Brost clinic expanded into a modern 7,400 square foot facility in 2009 and is now one of the largest chiropractic & natural health care clinics in the Midwest. The Brost Clinic opened its second facility located in Medina in November 2010. The Brost Clinic is heavily involved in improving community efforts regularly collecting donations for Interfaith Outreach & Community Partners, an active member of the Greater Wayzata Area Chamber of Commerce and members of the Minnesota Chiropractic Association. Dr. Brost has also donated drug education materials for all the western suburb schools.

Clinic co-founder and award winning chiropractor, Dr. Barbro Brost states “Studies have proven that preventative health care, like chiropractic, significantly decreases overall health costs for Americans. The Brost Clinic’s philosophy of care is to treat the source of health problems to eliminate the symptoms and fully resolve conditions so patients enjoy the most optimum health. I want to thank the Wayzata community for helping us grown into one of the Midwest’s largest natural health care clinics.”

The mission of the clinic is to provide the highest quality chiropractic and natural health care to alleviate pain and promote optimum health for families and individuals of all ages.

The Brost Clinic is a Minneapolis advertising client of Wayzata.com.
