Lakeshore Weekly News: Trojans finish second at state, again

Check out this article by Matt Thomas from the Lakeshore Weekly News about Wayzata Volleyball finishing second in the state:

"For the second straight season, the Wayzata volleyball team found itself in the heartbreaking position of being on the cusp of capturing a state championship, but falling just short to a team with superior talent.

Last year it was Shakopee and its University of Minnesota recruit Ashley Wittman. This year it was Lakeville North and its University of Minnesota recruit Taylr McNeil.

McNeil - who is only a freshman, but has verbally committed to the U of M - recorded 27 kills on 44 swings for a gaudy .568 hitting percentage."
