Julia Doyle and Toni Okuyemi honored by Star Tribune for volleyball performance

Hi Wayzata Trojan Fans, Julia Doyle has been name to the first team volleyball in the metro by the Star Tribune. Julia, a junior setter was featured in todays edition of the paper by writer David Brewster, who had this to say:

"At 6-1, her height makes her a threat in the front or back row. She is foremost a setter who always anticipates the attack (742 assists during the regular season), but can also step up and hit with authority when needed, evidenced by her 200-plus kills. Smooth, calm and always in control."

Toni Okuyemi, a junior MB, made the second team all metro because she is an, "Explosive leaper has excellent timing and sturdy block."

Stay tuned to, your Wayzata sports leader.
