WAYZATA BASEBALL 2009: Trojans Seeded Second

Despite just a 10-9 record during the regular season, the Wayzata baseball team earned the No. 2 seed in section 6AAA.

The Trojans are in one of four subsections along with seventh seeded St. Louis Park and 10th seeded Minneapolis South.

The Trojans will begin play in their subsection at 7 p.m. Thursday, May 21, at Braemar Park in Edina against the loser of the first game between St. Louis Park and Minneapolis South.

Hopkins received the No. 1 seed in the section and will play in a subsection with eighth seeded Armstrong and ninth seeded Holy Angels. Benilde-St. Margaret's is the No. 3 seed and Minneapolis Southwest is the No. 4 seed.
