Wayzata Art Experience to be Held This Weekend


The 6th Annual Wayzata Art Experience will be held Saturday, May 16 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Sunday, May 17 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m in downtown Wayzata on Lake Street. The art show will showcase over 90 juried visual artists, as well as culinary and performance art. There will also be an Outdoor Garden Exhibit on display showcasing outdoor art and landscaping ideas.

The Wayzata Art Experience will also have an activities area just for kids. The Children's Area will be open both Saturday and Sunday from 12-4 p.m. Returning features include Ralph statues from Hammer and the Wuollet Bakery Cookie Art Station, where kids and adults can try their hand at decorating. In addition, the Minnetonka Center for the Arts will have an area with hands-on activities for children and families.
