Summer Beach Hours

Wayzata Beach will be open beginning June 7 and remain open until August 17. Beach parking permits are required and free to Wayzata residents and may be picked up at City Hall. Parking permits are also available to non-residents for a fee of $30. The beach is not guarded on days colder than 65 degrees.

  1. The city should monitor beach permits. Last year there were some people who worked at the Boat Works building who purchased beach permits so they could park in the beach parking so they didn't have to walk far when the entire area was filled with cars. They would park there all day. If you're not at the beach you shouldn't be able to use the beach parking
