Section Tournaments Set for Wayzata Lacrosse Teams

The Wayzata boy's and girl's lacrosse teams are ready to make some noise in its' respective section tournaments with play beginning this week.

The Wayzata girl's team finished the regular season with a record of 11-1 and received the No. 2 seed in its section. The team will host the winner of the first-round game between seventh seeded Orono and 10th seeded Robbinsdale Cooper at 5 p.m. Thursday, May 21.

Eden Prairie received the No. 1 seed in the section. Robbinsdale Armstrong is the No. 3 seed and Chaska is the No. 4 seed.

The Wayzata boy's team finished the regular season with a record of 7-5 and received the No. 3 seed in its section. The team will host the winner of the first-round game between No. 6 seed Chaska and No. 11 seed Hopkins at 7 p.m. Thursday, May 21.

Minnetonka received the No. 1 seed in the section. Eden Prairie is the No. 2 seed and Osseo is the No. 4 seed.
