Boys Tennis Team Looking for Another Trip to State Tournament

The Wayzata boys tennis team advanced to the semifinals in section 2AA on Thursday afternoon with a 6-1 victory over Chaska.

The semifinals and finals will be played on Tuesday, May 19, at Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, Minn.

The Trojans will face Mankato West in one semifinal at 9 a.m. Minnetonka and Hutchinson will play in the second semifinal. The semifinal winners will meet in the championship match at 11 a.m.

The Trojans are looking to return to the state tournament after they won the consolation championship at last year's tournament.
