Wayzata Student Council Seeks Nominations for Distinguished Alumni

Each year, the WHS Student Council selects a Distinguished Alumni recipient, and they are currently seeking nominations. The selected individual is typically honored during Homecoming Week in the fall.

Candidates should make great contributions to their community, their profession or to the state or nation, and need to have graduated more than 20 years ago. Once submitted, all nominations are kept on file and reviewed yearly as potential award winners, according to Sue Iverson the WHS Student Council Advisor.

To nominate a WHS alum, please utilize this form, and on a separate sheet of paper respond to the following prompt:

“I believe the reasons this person should be nominated for the alumni award are:”

According to Iverson, "Many times submissions will include additional materials – such as published articles, or info. that has been included in newspapers, and on the web. All submitted materials will be used by the students as they select a recipient."
