WAYZATA GIRLS BASKETBALL 2009: Section Pairings Announced

The Wayzata girls basketball team received the number four seed in the section 6AAAA tournament which will begin Wednesday, March 4. The Trojans will face fifth seeded Minnetonka in one quarterfinal at 6:30 p.m. at Hopkins High School.

The Trojans swept two games against the Skippers this year, including a 66-55 victory Friday night.

Here are the pairings for the section 6AAAA tournament:

(1) Hopkins (24-2)
(8) St. Louis Park (2-22)

(4) Wayzata (14-10)
(5) Minnetonka (12-14)

(3) Robbinsdale Armstrong (21-4)
(6) Minneapolis Southwest (11-14)

(2) Minneapolis South (24-2)
(7) Robbinsdale Cooper (11-14)
