WAYZATA COMMUNITY SAILING CENTER: Regatta's - We got 'em this summer!

From "The Tell-tale", the newsletter of the Wayzata Community Sailing Center.

We're again hosting local and regional events this summer from fun events for newcomers to US Sailing national event qualifiers for the seasoned sailors.

Spring sailing kicks off with both college and high school regattas during April and May.

Summer race season opens up as we host the Mike Plant Regatta (June 19) and continues throughout the summer as the Twin Cities Youth Sailing schedule.

We are also hosting the Upper Midwest Junior Olympic Sailing Festival June 29 - July 1. Later in July, we also host the Area K Qualifiers for US Sailing's Junior National Championships for the Sears, Bemis, and Smythe trophies (July 13-15).

We'll need lots and lots of volunteer helpers to continue our reputation of providing excellent regattas. Anyone who would like to join the Regatta Committee, or help out in any way, please contact Ross Siemers. We'll find plenty for you to do!

Ross Siemers, Chair of Regatta Committee
