WAYZATA HOCKEY 2009: Trojans over Armstrong 5-2

Photography and notes by Jon Wright / J&K Creative

Despite keeping the puck in the Armstrong end for almost the entire first period, the Trojans couldn't find the back of the net. The second period took a different turn as Wayzata scored three goals in the first two and a half minutes. After adding a fourth goal Armstrong came back to score on two power plays and the score remained four to two after two periods.

The Trojans added another goal in the third for a final score of 5-2. Pictured here, junior center, Danny Walsh looks for a rebound as the puck flips up over the Armstrong goalie. More to come...
