Wayzata City Council to hold special closed door meeting regarding 800 Superior Street Acquisition

Sandy Langley just emailed over a notice that the Wayzata City Council will hold a Closed Door Executive Meeting at Wayzata City Hall on Tuesday, February 17, 2009 at 7:30 AM. The agenda is as follows:

1. Special Business:

Closed Meeting pursuant to Minn. Stat.13D.05(3) to discuss the acquisition of 800 Superior Blvd., RLS No. 1168. Tract E.

With Dean Vlahos reeling from the Petters ponzi scheme, and his attempts to dispose of his soon-to-be foreclosed residences, my sixth sense tells me the negotiations are getting much closer in terms of putting together a deal the City can live with. When asked about the deal last week, Mayor Ken Willcox had no comment.

Have an opinion on what is going on? Think I am off my rocker? Put it in writing in the comments section of this post.
