Wayzata Football Announcer Joe Komarek receives award

Joe Komarek, the Wayzata Stadium announcer for home Trojan football games, received a plaque yesterday from the 2008 Wayzata Trojan Football Team.

From the Star Tribune on September on September 26th, 2008, in an article titled, "High school football season preview: Top of the Class -

"BEST P.A. ANNOUNCER
Joe Komarek, Wayzata: He adds a touch of humor to the booth with artificial attendance reports and mimicking of penalty calls by officials."

The plaque was presented to Kom at the Wayzata versus Cooper Section 5AAAAA playoff game. Congratulations Joe!
