Luce Line / Dakota Rail Trail Connection Open House Scheduled for Tuesday, October 14, 2008, from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Wayzata City Hall

From the City of Wayzata:

The City of Wayzata has been awarded funds from Hennepin County to conduct a planning effort to identify a potential bike and pedestrian trail connection through downtown Wayzata, linking the Dakota Rail and Luce Line Trails. This planning effort was one of ten Hennepin County Community Works Corridor Planning grants awarded through a competitive process to communities in 2008. The City of Wayzata, Hennepin County, and Three Rivers Park District are partnering to conduct this collaborative planning effort. SRF Consulting Group, Inc. has been retained to lead this effort, and engage the community in this process.

An Open House is scheduled for Tuesday, October 14, 2008, from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Wayzata City Hall, for interested parties to provide comments and concerns about the project.
