Ask Dan! - Where is the trail head for Dakota Rail Trail from Wayzata to St. Bonifacious trail?

Dan,

Where is the trail head for Wayzata-St. Boni trail?

Jeannie R.

Hi Jeannie,

That's a great question. I was over at City Hall and all the girls at the front desk said in a questioning tone, "Shaver Park?". So I went and did some investigation on my own. The real name Three Rivers Park District gives the Wayzata/St. Boni trail is the Dakota Rail Regional Trail. I drove down Lake Street, took a left on Ferndale, and an immediate left on Grove lane. The top picture here is right by the Wayzata Marina and next to the Boat Works. The bottom picture is at the corner of Grove Lane and Ferndale. Have fun Jeannie!
