City of Wayzata begins Quite Zone work for Rail Road

This information was and is on the City of Wayzata's website yesterday afternoon.

"The Arlington railroad crossing, at the east end of Lake Street, will be closing beginning Thursday, September 18, 2008. The crossing will be closed to allow BNSF to make repairs to the crossing and to begin construction on the City's Quiet Zone median improvements. The crossing will be closed through Friday, September 19, 2008. The suggested detour will use 101 to Wayzata Blvd to Superior Blvd. Thank you for your cooperation. For additional information on Wayzata's quiet zone improvements, click here. "
I think Wayzata residents who live near the Quite Zone will sleep better at night upon completion for a long time to come!
