Joey Miller headed to Gopher Hockey Program

The fish wrap factory west side of the river is reporting that Joey Miller--Wayzata '06 Football and Hockey standout--has verbally committed to the University of Minnesota Men's Hockey program for 2008-2009.

Miller had a dynamic impact on both the hockey and the football team during his tenure at Wayzata High School. He was electric during the 2006 Prep Bowl in which Wayzata won the Minnesota State Football Championship over Cretin. He was also very good player for the Trojans Ice Hockey team while he was at WHS.

Look for Joey to contribute substantially to the Gopher's Program, and as always, stay tuned to for the latest and greatest information on Miller and Wayzata.
